There are a wide variety of designer skin lotion choices on the market these days. You can find them at expensive boutiques, high end department stores, salons and dermatologists' offices. Some of these lotions and creams can cost close to $1000 or sometimes even more. But is it worth the price? This is an issue you will need to investigate on your own before making a decision. Reading reviews and opinions from product users can be helpful. There are various sites where you can do just that, like Amazon and Makeup Alley.

You may also want to request testers and/or samples. Stores like Sephora and department stores will often give out samples of products in the hope that you will come back and make a purchase. While a single-use sample isn't enough for you to know whether the product works for your skin, you can figure out if you like the texture, fragrance and absorption of the product before splurging on a full size.
